Tools Every Mom Needs
Living Well Planner
As a mom, we always have a LOT going on. From soccer schedules to doctors appointments and everything in between. Sure, there’s a bazillion planners out there to help with that. But what I LOVE about this one, is that it incorporates all that, as well as a place for your monthly budget AND your meal plan AND a place for you to dream big and set realistic goals for your own dreams, outside of the day-to-day. It’s beautiful, and fun to use, and inspires me to dream, even in this season of having young kids. Definitely worth it. Plus the stickers and Weekly Wizard/Daily Do It sheets are super fun to use!
Coffee from MistoBox
I. Love. Coffee. I’m pretty sure it loves me too. We’ve got a good thing going, you know? A few years back, I discovered the delicious beauty of small batch roasted coffee. Where large batch roasters (think huge name companies that you’d find in grocery stores or chain coffee shops) roast their coffee, they have to over-roast it basically, because of the massive quantities being roasted at one time, in order to ensure that all the beans make it through. Small batch roasters choose high quality beans, often in fair trade situations, and roast the beans to perfection, not burnt over-roasted beans that taste nasty. My husband and I subscribed to Mistobox at a friend’s recommendation and we haven’t looked back. You get high quality, delicious, small batch coffee from across the nation delivered to your door for a discounted price. You can either tell them exactly what you want, or let them choose for you. Then you can build your flavor profile and review coffees (if you want to take the time) and they will continue to hone what they choose for you so you love it more and more. It’s one of my FAVORITE things we do!
Blogging (Design, Tech, Branding)
Autumn Lane Paperie (Logo/Branding)
While I was perusing Pinterest, I discovered gorgeous logo after gorgeous logo, and they all led me back to Beck and her team at ALP! Not only do they have STUNNING pre-made logos for an amazing price, but they do custom logos and branding packages and full website designs. Their team was SO easy to work with, super friendly and flexible. They took my vague, general thoughts about what I wanted and turned it into a beautiful “brand” that I love. They have something for all budgets. I highly recommend them!!
Restored 316 (Blog Themes)
As I was searching for the perfect wordpress theme for my new blog, I kept coming back to Lauren and Restored 316. Not only are her themes absolutely stunning, but they are so clean and easy to work with. There are step-by-step tutorials so that even non-techies like me look like geniuses. The prices are great and the support you receive from the team and the Facebook Group is fantastic. I had an issue figuring out how to do something and posted in the FB group and got the solution within an hour. I loved them!!
Lady Boss Studio (Canva Design Templates)
I am SO not a graphic design person and I honestly feel pretty intimidated when I think about designing my own opt-in templates, social media posts, etc. I happened to discover Tasha and Lady Boss Studio while I was desperately searching for design help and I’m SO thankful I did! Her ready-to-use template packages are beautiful, easy to use, and very reasonably priced. I’ve been able to create fabulous freebies by just inserting my own photo and text into her ready-made templates.
iMarkInteractive (Tech Support)
The tech aspect of blogging is the scariest part for me. I haven’t studied it. It doesn’t come naturally to me. And I’m afraid to mess it up. So when I found Grayson Bell at iMarkInteractive, it was a dream come true. He knows what he’s talking about, has affordable prices, and is quick to respond. He offers a free course on blogging with wordpress that is super easy to follow and so helpful. Plus he and his team offer a variety of tech services and packages to keep your blog running smoothly
Convert Kit (Email Service)
I researched a number of email service providers and asked a number of successful bloggers what they use, and I kept coming back to Convert Kit. They have a ton of great features, including a tag based system, easy GDPR solutions, landing pages builder, great looking forms and an easy-to-use interface. Whether you have 100 subscribers, or 100,000, they are built to scale and have one of the best email delivery rates of any service. I love them!
